Jérémy's 'Uzée' cuvée consists of 60% Gamay and 40% Mondeuse grapes. The latter is an old, difficult-to-tame red wine variety that smells of violets and dark wildflowers and produces exciting, low-alcohol wines. Combined with the berry-forward Gamay, the result is a rich, delicious, and digestible wine. It's now at its peak—we only have a few bottles left—and displays notes of cassis, blackberries, and cherries.
