Five rivers flow through the Apennines from south to north in the Colli Piacentini region. Marco Cordani's vineyards are located in the hills not far from the banks of the Arda, one of these rivers. The rich blend of Malvasia, Ortrugo, Sauvignon, and Moscato is typical of the area and especially of the Val d'Arda. What makes the Oracolo special is that the Malvasia grapes are harvested late (appassito), giving the wine an intensely fruity note. Furthermore, fermentation occurs spontaneously and on the whole bunch, just as is the case with red wines. We recommend removing the Oracolo from the refrigerator half an hour before drinking so the wine can reveal its seductive diversity.
