In 2020, for the first time, he opted for a blend of all the grape varieties found on his six-hectare vineyard. Gastine combines the red varieties Gamay, Corbeau, Mondeuse, and Pinot Noir with the white varieties Chasselas, Chardonnay, and Altesse. Gastine is therefore a blend, with grapes of both colors fermented together in a single mash. Unlike a classic rosé, the 2020 Gastine is dry and tart, fresh and funky. This makes it a wonderful food companion when we crave both a white and a red.
