The long, deep, mineral soils of Canon-Fronsac are evident in its length. Bénédict and Grégoire's Grand Vin comes from 80-year-old Merlot vines and a small portion of Malbec. It is aged for one year in barriques, with the winemaking couple using new oak very sparingly. The 2016 vintage is considered the finest vintage ever produced at the château. This Château Moulin Pey-Labrie has everything we expect from a Pomerol or St-Émilion wine and more. The ripe Merlot fruit is accompanied by an invigorating spiciness from aromas of wild herbs and a dark minerality: a Bordeaux delight for those who have (almost) said goodbye to Bordeaux.","brand":"setpember","offers":[{"title":"default","offer_id":55642081100151,"sku":null,"price":32.0,"currency_code":"CHF","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0934\/7330\/9047\/files\/6267f0a9b123a138243071c8_Pey2016_d7fda47d-6f55-477a-942c-efd01928dce9.jpg?v=1755775442"},{"product_id":"chateau-moulin","title":"Château Moulin","description":"Bénédicte and Grégoire Hubeau cultivate 14 hectares of vines in the Fronsac corner, where the Isle flows into the Gironde. Well into the 19th century, Fronsac was considered the best location on the right bank of the Gironde, where the famous towns of St. Émilion and Pomerol are also located. Château Moulin comes from almost 50-year-old Merlot vines. It was aged for one year in barriques, with Bénédicte and Grégoire using very little new wood. After experiencing a period of lavish fruit notes, this 2016 vintage (a fantastic year on the right bank of the Gironde) withdrew and fell into a deep sleep. Slowly, it awakens to reveal a new face. At the beginning, it is tart, dry, and complex, just the right accompaniment to a hearty meal. Then, slowly, it opens up and reveals its heart: wonderfully ripe, warm Merlot fruit. Château Moulin is a wine for people who love surprises. We recommend opening or even decanting a few hours before consumption. This also works from bottle to bottle.\n","brand":"setpember","offers":[{"title":"default","offer_id":55647021072759,"sku":null,"price":22.0,"currency_code":"CHF","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0934\/7330\/9047\/files\/628b2b9bcceb9975e85feb99_IMG_4089_bf97fbc8-df10-4dbe-8e3e-8814ec599e71.jpg?v=1755818757"}],"url":"https:\/\/shop.setpember.ch\/en\/collections\/chateau-moulin-pey-labrie.oembed","provider":"Setpember Vin \u0026 Vinyl","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
